11/11/24, 11:45
We are Committed to Accessible and Free Medical Services in Africa

The proposed development of a Community Medical Hospital (CMH) that aims to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare services to underserved populations in Imo State/Awarra Communities. This initiative is crucial to addressing the growing healthcare needs of the autonomous community, particularly in light of recent challenges posed by illness/pandemic and ongoing health disparities. We are seeking a total sum of $876,125 USD to support the construction, hospital equipment, staffing, and operational costs of the CMH.
Healthcare affordable access remains a pressing issue in Africa, especially in Imo State/Awarra autonomous community. With the nearest hospital in the rural areas is located 68.7km away, making it very difficult for residents, especially those without reliable transportation, to receive timely medical attention.
The lack of local healthcare facilities has resulted in increased emergency room visits, preventable death, delayed treatments, and poorer health outcomes for the Awarra community members.
The proposed site for the community medical hospital is strategically located within the Awarra/Ikwerede autonomous community, Ohaji/Egbema local government Area, Imo State, Nigeria to ensure accessibility for residents.
The proposed Community Medical Hospital will serve as a critical resource, offering a range of services including primary care, emergency services, maternal and child health, chronic disease management, and mental health support. By establishing a local healthcare with international standard facility, we aim to improve health outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
Objectives
