Annual Tech Challenge

For digital literacy to take place, both the instructor and learner need to be digitally literate. Technology in education is said to be used broadly in presentation, demonstration, drill, practice, interaction, collaboration. In fact, over 87% of students learn best through visual and tactile modalities.

Adopt a Student

Prior to the start of the First Semester 2022-2023, It was found out that several of these students lack appropriate devices and needing financial assistance for remote learning. Thus, the AFAB through its Scholarships, Honors and Awards Committee launched the Adopt-a-Student Program.

Transportation for Youth

We aim to introduce free shuttle buses scheme for Students, such will be used to convey pupils of public primary and secondary schools to and from schools in the Nations to reduce the amount parents spend on the transportation of their wards.

Humanitarian AID

An estimated 9.4 million people are currently in dire need of food aid in northern Ethiopia, according to the United Nations (UN), as the ongoing Tigray conflict shows no signs of abating.

The humanitarian situation is most acute in the Tigray Region, where 5.2 million are at risk, along with another 534,000 in Afar and 3.3 million in Amhara.

Youth Development

Experts on youth development have identified massive investment in the African youths and mentoring as keys to securing better future for the country. Experts have underscored the importance of values and right orientation for the growth of the nations. issues such as modelling the right values for the youths and paying attention to the boys as much as people do to the plights of the girl-child. “Inculcating soft skills into young minds will enable them to set goals.

Agricultural Support Scheme

Nigerian food inflation, now at its highest since 2008, shows that food security is the country’s overriding problem.

January’s overall inflation rate of 16.5% was the highest since mid-2017, lifted by food inflation which accelerated to 20.6%.

Inflation will “certainly remain elevated over the medium term, and may actually rise in 2021, this will trigger escalation of Hunger.
