AFAB International Organization President Engr. Ezeka Paul Urges African Union to Diplomatically Resolve Democratic Crisis in Africa.


In a call to action, Engr. Ezeka Paul, President of the AFAB International Organization, has urged the African Union (AU) to prioritize diplomatic efforts to address the growing democratic crisis affecting several nations across the continent. Speaking at a recent democratic summit in Kigali, he emphasized the urgent need for collective action to promote peace, stability, and democratic governance in Africa.


Engr. Paul highlighted that many African countries are currently grappling with political instability, civil unrest, and governance challenges that threaten democratic institutions and the rule of law. He pointed out that the AU, as a pivotal organization for regional cooperation, has a responsibility to facilitate dialogue and negotiation among conflicting parties to prevent further escalation of tensions.


"With the right diplomatic interventions, we can foster a culture of peace and reconciliation, and ultimately, strengthen democracy across the continent," he stated. He urged member states to work collaboratively in addressing the root causes of political crises, such as poverty, inequality, and social injustices, which often fuel discontent among citizens.


These democratic instability results to increase of hunger, sickness, shortages of food, water and medical cares and it's the poor families, children, women and aged categories of citizens that bears the consequences of the fights.


The AFAB International Organization is committed to supporting democratic initiatives and capacity-building efforts within African nations. Engr. Paul called for increased engagement with civil society, youth organizations, and grassroots movements to ensure that the voices of ordinary citizens are heard in the political process.


In conclusion, Engr. Ezeka Paul reaffirmed his organization's commitment to supporting the AU's peace and security agenda and expressed hope for a renewed focus on diplomatic resolutions to democratic challenges in Africa. He called on all stakeholders to collaborate in fostering a more stable and democratic future for the continent.
